WHAT IS MIDDLE SCHOOL BASEBALL?
The MIDDLE SCHOOL BASEBALL Program is an interleague cooperative spearheaded by Temecula Pony in cooperation with French Valley Pony, Murrieta Pony, and Menifee Pony to provide an additional opportunity for local players to compete for their middle school. The program is a great environment for players to prepare for high school in a competitive environment against other local schools. Each league will maintain and establish teams based on their boundaries and agreement with interleague partners and their Parks and rec requirements.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Players MUST attend the school they are trying out for.
Players must register in order to attend tryouts.
Due to the limited number of teams, not all players will be “selected” and attending a TRYOUT does not guarantee a spot on the team.
WHAT IS THE PLAYER/PARENT COMMITMENT?
Be available for, and participate in all games and EOS tournament.
Games will begin in September and run through mid-November. This is a competitive league and we will maintain score and standings. All INTERLEAGUE RULES including minimum play time will be strictly enforced.
Willingness to play any position(s), your Manager assigns you to play, taking in consideration the best interest of the team.
Acceptance that players positions are left to the discretion of the manager
WHAT IS THE COST ?
Cost for the season is $250 per player and includes: Jerseys with School logos, preseason practices, game field use, lights, field supplies, standard picture packet, player insurance, volunteer background checks.
Players will split additional fees if the team decides on any individual team gear or additional practices/cages.
