WHAT IS MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL?

The MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL Program was established by FVBSA to provide an additional opportunity for local players to compete for their middle school. The program is a great environment for players to prepare for high school softball in a competitive environment against other local schools.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Players MUST attend the school they are trying out for.

Players must register in order to attend tryouts.

Due to the limited number of teams, not all girls will be “selected” and  attending a TRYOUT does not guarantee a spot on the team.

WHAT IS THE PLAYER/PARENT COMMITMENT?

Be available for, and participate in all games and EOS tournament.

Preseason Practices will be scheduled to establish a team dynamic, once games begin there will be no more practices.

Games will be FRIDAY only for regular Season, End of Season tournament days will vary.

Willingness to play any position(s), your Manager assigns you to play, taking in consideration the best interest of the team.

Acceptance that playing time is left to the discretion of the manager and understand players may have limited play time during games.

WHAT IS THE COST ?

Cost for the season is $250 per player and includes: Jerseys with School logos, game field use, lights, field supplies, standard picture packet, player insurance, volunteer background checks.  Players will split additional fees if the team decides on any individual team gear or additional practices/cages.
