SPRING 2023 SEASON INFORMATION

 

  • Practices start end of Jan
  • Spring season is 10-12 weeks depending on the division.
  • All Games and Practices are on local Valleywide fields in the French Valley Area unless the division requires an interleague partner.
  • All players must provide any safety equipment needed to participate. This includes batting helmets, bats, gloves and cleats. No shared equipment.
  • FULL UNIFORMS will be provided this season, with the exception of our Sandlot Division, who will receive a shirt a hat.
  • The number of teams will be formed per division is based on the volunteers available.  Managers are needed and can apply here: VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

SEASON DATES

The FV Baseball and Softball season is quickly approaching. If you have not done so, please make sure to register your child before spaces fill up. Below are some of the important dates coming up for this season:

GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

REGISTRATION IS OPEN ONLINE AND WILL CLOSE 1/31/23 waitlists will form prior to this date if Volunteer Capacity is exceeded.  

 

LATE REGISTRATION STARTS 1/06/23 Players are accepted on a limited basis. $15 Late Fee will Apply.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES Full Uniform, Player Picture package, end of season medals, team practices and games, field use, player insurance, volunteer background checks.

 

SPONSORSHIP FEE Each team will be required to secure a $150 sponsorship. If the team does not secure sponsorship, each parent will be responsible for an equal portion to make up the $150 sponsorship.

 

MANDATORY FUNDRAISER FEE NOT APPLICABLE FOR SPRING 2023.

 

PRACTICES Due to work schedules, practice schedules are scheduled between the Volunteer Managers and our Field Coordinator. Team change requests due to practice schedules will not be granted. Coaches will contact players as teams are formed. Practices will be 1-2 times per week depending on the Division and volunteer Coach availability.

 

GAMES Younger divisions will have up to 2 practices and 1 game a week. Older divisions will have 1 practice and 2 games a week.

 

GENERAL WAITLIST INFO: Waitlists are formed for various reasons. Reasons could include; not enough managers, not enough players to form an additional team, or we have reached divisional capacity. If you are interested in playing this season, please register and if space becomes available due to; players dropping, space opening, or managers being acquired, players will then be placed onto teams in order of registration paid. If players remain on the waitlist after all teams are formed, full refunds will be issued.

 

 

 

REGISTRATION REFUND POLICY

 

ALL REFUND REQUESTS must be submitted online via the REFUND FORM.

 

How Our Refund Policy Works Our league operates on money received from registration and our expenses are budgeted accordingly.  League purchases are made for the upcoming seasons after our posted cut off dates (see below). Because of this, the FVBSA refund policy is as follows:

 

  • 100% refund if requested within 30 days of registration date and is before the non-refundable cut-off date.
  • 100% refund, minus a $25.00 processing fee, if requested after 30 days of registration date but before our no refund cut-off date.
  • No refunds after Jan. 15th (Spring Season) or Aug. 15th (Fall Season) No Exceptions.
  • No refunds will be available for the Select Programs
  • No refunds will be available for the Advanced Programs (Select/Rangers/Allstars/Middleschool)

NOTE:  SPRING 2020 REGISTRATION CREDITS EXPIRED SPRING 2021
